Residents at a Great Wyrley care home were thoroughly entertained by Pam Catz professional Drag artist to celebrate American Independence Day.
Pam Catz’s professional drag queen act consists of singing, mime and comedy which was a real treat for residents, families and staff at Waters Edge Care Home.
The home, owned by Alpha Health Care, held a Vegas themed day on Wednesday 4th July to celebrate American Independence Day also referred to as the Fourth of July which is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
Waters Edge Care Home Manager Sandra Potts said: “Everyone had a great time at the Vegas day – and especially seeing Pam Catz perform.
“Residents and guests wore glittery hats and sampled some American food and refreshments. It was a great day and the residents enjoyed a varied entertainment act in Pam Catz. We are still laughing and talking about the performance.”
