We are a specialist service with an established reputation for caring for elderly people with nursing and palliative care needs as a consequence of their dementia or other neurological illness or enduring mental illness.
Nursing Dementia Care
Our service includes providing nursing care for people with complex dementias, those who have had strokes or are dealing with progressive neurological illnesses and also palliative care for residents who are reaching the end of their life.
By providing our nursing service from within Hampton Court, we are able to provide a clear pathway to/from our specialist nursing dementia or residential, respite and enablement services. Residents can step up/step down as required rather than having to move into an acute NHS hospital environment. This enables us to maintain a level of continuity of care which is much appreciated by them, as well as by their families and carers.

Our Home
Hampton Court is a two storey purpose built care home where our residents are able to enjoy large communal lounges and separate dining rooms spaces. Set around two separate beautiful gardens which can be enjoyed by our residents all year round.
We are able to offer residents spacious accommodation in a range of single and luxury rooms all with en-suite facilities.
Our team understand that a loved one’s move into a care home can be a difficult time. We try to make the move as easy as we can and will be happy to spend time with you planning for the move. We will also discuss with you a number of useful and practical things you may wish to consider.
We appreciate the importance of people’s emotions and treasured possessions and are happy for residents to bring along any belongings which help in their transition from home to life at Hampton Court.
The Lodge
The Lodge is a specialist unit within Hampton Court. Situated over two floors this dedicated specialist service has been reconfigured and fully refurbished to support a specialist service for people, primarily over the age of 55, who have complex dementia.
Residents with complex dementia often present with multiple and challenging needs that require expert care in a safe and appropriate environment. Our staff are trained to provide the highest quality of therapeutic support and care to people who have varying forms of dementia, progressive neurological illnesses and acquired brain injuries (including strokes).
Using our structured therapeutic, recreational and diversional activity approach, we manage the effects of behaviours that challenge. We maintain a positive focus on each resident’s individual abilities thus ensuring they can lead as normal a life as possible, within the constraints of their dementia.
