Christmas Arrives at Alpha Health Care

Today marks the official start of Christmas at Alpha Health Care, as residents and staff look forward to a day of festivities, entertainment and the big light switch on at the home.
Lakeview and Waters Edge Care Homes are based on the Stafford Road in Great Wryley and the lights are due to be switched on on Monday 2nd December at dusk.
Britain’s Got Talent star Pippa Langhorne will be adding some extra sparkle to the day when she drops in to entertain the Lakeview care home residents before switching on the lights.
The singer, who reached the semi-finals of the top TV talent show with her dog Buddy, will perform her Christmas Show at the home.
Tracy Parsons Care Home Manager at Lakeview Care Home said: “All the residents are looking forward to the start of this special time of year and this special visitor as many of them watched the show and can’t wait to hear her beautiful voice.”
Other entertainment on the day include a 20 piece Choir Bel Canto will be performing some Christmas songs for the residents.
