Waters Edge Care Home hold a week of coffee mornings to help Macmillan

Residents and staff at Waters Edge Care Home have been holding a series of Coffee mornings this week to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support.
The Care Home in Great Wryley, Nr Walsall have been serving a different cake every day in support of the Worlds Biggest coffee morning. Monday was Battenburg, Tuesday Victoria sandwich, Cupcake Wednesday and Lemon Drizzle on Thursday. Waters Edge will join in on Friday 29th September with the annual Macmillan cancer support Coffee morning with ‘Fruity Friday’ fruit cakes. The coffee morning will also include some entertainment and a bbq.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. People all over the UK host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone Macmillan raised £29.5 million and this year we are aiming to raise even more.
