Are you passionate about food and looking to advance your career in catering? Alpha Health Care Group is excited to announce our Catering Development Programme, designed to provide staff with the opportunity to develop their skills, progress into a Cook role, and eventually become a Senior Cook.
This programme is open to all and offers a pathway to further your career in catering. You’ll start as a Cook at £12.00 per hour, with the potential to progress to a Senior Cook position at £12.50 per hour.

– Training & Mentorship: You will receive structured training and ongoing mentorship to develop your skills, including food preparation, menu planning, and compliance with food safety standards.
– Career Progression: This is a great opportunity to take on more responsibilities, with a clear pathway to advance from Cook to Senior Cook.
– Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience in all aspects of kitchen operations, from meal planning and food preparation to leadership skills for managing a kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities as a Cook
– Assist with the preparation of balanced, nutritious meals for our residents.
– Contribute to menu planning, ensuring a varied and appealing selection of dishes.
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety within the kitchen.
– Supervise and support other kitchen staff where needed.
