Waters Edge Care Home on Stafford Road, nr Walsall was full of special guests this week when babies and toddlers joined in with a special baby therapy session.
The specialist dementia care home extended a special invitation to staff and relatives children to come along and sing nursery rhythms, read stories and take part in some art and crafts activities with the residents as a special Baby Therapy session.
Jenny one of the homes Activity Co-ordinators said, “Whenever a baby visits the home the whole atmosphere changes, the residents smile and laugh along with the children and enjoy the company of the little ones. We decided to hold our first Baby Therapy session as there is something very special about joining the youngest and oldest members of our society together”

Run by Alpha Care Homes, Waters Edge offers a ‘home from home’ environment on a residential or respite basis for people needing residential care or living with dementia.
